The 2010 Siminovitch Prize in Theatre will be given to a professional director. Please consult the prize criteria. Nominations should include:

  • A completed Nomination Form
  • An artist’s statement (maximum one-page) from the nominee.
  • A clear and up-to-date professional theatre resume for the nominee that outlines his or her accomplishments in the area of direction indicating all relevant dates. At least three noteworthy projects within the last ten years should be highlighted.
  • No more than fifteen pages of printed supporting material containing comprehensive information on education and training, citations and other awards, as well as media clippings, copied onto legal or letter sized paper.
  • A 150-word biography of the nominee to be used for the purposes of publicity.
  • A photograph/headshot of the nominee to be used for the purposes of publicity.

Additional materials will not be considered. Please include a list of support materials with the nomination submission.

Completed nominations must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, June 4, 2010.

In addition, jury members may identify additional candidates. Self-nominations will not be considered. Completed nominations should be submitted by mail to:
