Marketing Manager

The Siminovitch Theatre Foundation (STF) is seeking a bilingual Marketing Manager to lead the organization’s marketing and communications.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this role manages the full marketing portfolio—planning and executing campaigns that connect audiences with the artists and ideas driving theatre in Canada.
This is a hands-on role for a self-directed marketer who enjoys working independently in a small organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute STF’s marketing and communications
- Create and distribute digital content (newsletter, social media, artist features, video)
- Maintain the STF website and national mailing list (Keela)
- Track analytics and refine engagement strategies
- Lead event logistics and execution
- Coordinate Siminovitch Prize nomination process
- Gather information to support programming and further impact
- Coordinate the fulfillment of sponsorship and partnership deliverables
- Support fundraising through digital strategies
- Ensure brand consistency across platforms and activations
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Professional working proficiency in English and French
- 5+ years marketing or communications experience
- Can influence with words, writing both promotional benefit-driven copy, and crafting long-form storytelling (text and video)
- Demonstrated leadership in successful metric-driven social campaigns (audience growth, newsletter sign-up, engagement, donations etc.)
- Strong visual sensibility with experience creating graphic assets
- Familiarity with WordPress, email marketing tools, social media and digital analytics
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
